PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We as the S/4HANA Master Data Management organization, under the Products & Innovation board area drive “Digital Transformation” within S/4HANA. The Master Data Management team as whole is responsible for creating, maintaining and delivering SAP’s Master Data Management offerings. In the context of S/4HANA, a consistent and holistic view on master data is the foundation for all our end-to-end processes.
In the MDM Services team, we focus on building microservices natively on SAP Cloud Platform to provide reusable services for managing entities like Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Product Master etc. in the cloud and to create a registry of master data belonging to distributed cloud solutions. MDM Services provide a means of loosely coupled integration of shared master data.
We are currently setting up a new team that will take end to end responsibility for value adding services based on the master data registry. We are looking for talented, goal oriented, motivated and proactive team players with excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills coupled with a willingness to take initiative and effectively apply the knowledge gained towards accomplishment of project/program goals.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Works as Scrum Master within the development team
Takes over development tasks focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team. Ability to analyze and solves issues in existing and new code.
Takes full responsibility for accepted tasks and reliably executes these with well-balanced focus on quality, usability and speed.
Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
Is a continuous learner with strong customer focus combined with business acumen
Has proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodology
Must have proven ability to work in a team
Expertise in JAVA Script, JAVA, ABAP and Eclipse framework
Expertise in SAP UI 5.0, HANA is preferable
Expected to be comfortable to work in a lean setup and it is preferred that the candidate is familiar with the agile software engineering principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent German language knowledge is a must
University degree in Informatics/ Computer Sciences or related field
4 to 8 years of experience in Software Development
Experience building cloud products is a plus
