JOB SUMMARY This position is for an electronic technician that will perform service, maintenance, and repair of tools in the eVolve product line. This will include assembly and disassembly of down hole tools. The work will consist of repairing and replacing printed circuit boards, rewiring of tools with harnesses, and testing the tools after the work is complete. The candidate will need to be adaptable, detail oriented and able to work closely with fellow team members to complete assigned work for the work center, assist in root cause analysis and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

reworking, repairing and modifying equipment that is non-conforming. Perform rework of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies. Performing test of equipment to qualify repairs and services completed. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Comply with all NOV policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronics field preferred. Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and electronic schematics. Proficient in the use of Multimeters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators. Knowledgeable about transformers, capacitors, switches, and circuits and common electronic components Experience working on down hole drilling tools preferred. Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills required. IPC- 610 certification preferred. Basic computer skills required. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work overtime hours as needed. Ability to work an “on call” rotating weekend schedule as needed.
