In this role, you would be mainly responsible for transactional accounting in respective entity and should ensure the quality and both Statutory & tax and group reporting compliance of the accounting entries. Your main responsibilities would be booking of purchase invoices and expense claims, posting relevant accounting journal, preparing bank payments and booking bank transactions, performing stock reconciliations, including related reconciliations for month-end. You would be responsible to provide the accounting documents and relevant reports from the area of responsibilities for statutory audits, group internal audits, management monitoring and independent business monitoring.
In this role, you would work closely with Tax and Statutory Accountant, Baltic Management Accountant, Baltic Senior Finance Partner, Customer Services, HR and other Baltic Accountants to deliver your objectives. You would cooperate with other Baltic colleagues and actively participate in aligning the Finance processes across the Baltics. You would act as a back-up for key responsibilities for Tax and Statutory Accountant, Lithuania. In this role, you would ensure maintaining, documenting and self-inspection of controls related with your responsibilities.
Basic qualifications:• University degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk management or similar) and/or accounting qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• English at advanced level
• Excellent Excel skills and good MS Office knowledge
• Experience with Sun Systems or SAP is advantage
• Previous experience in working in a multinational company
