Cubic | NEK Services, Inc., is seeking a SOF Communications & Information Operations Analyst/Trainer to support USSOCOM’s Enterprise Wide Training and Exercises Program (UEWTEP). The successful candidate will assist in planning, design/scripting, integrating, coordinating, managing and executing approved training and exercise program/s, providing information and data analysis, facilitating joint collective training, integrating cyberspace and building partner nations capacity activities with the joint exercise and training program. An effective exercise program enables the warfighters to maintain operational readiness and ensure the battle staffs are prepared to execute assigned and/or wartime functions and tasks. UEWTEP utilizes SOF Joint Training Teams (JTTs), Special Operations exercise response and realistic military training cells to assist in developing, planning and executing SOF training events and support SOF engagements in Service exercises. All JTT instructors and SME’s will be required to operate in a secure environment that provides robust capabilities and employs current and valid TTPs. This is a pre-award effort and position will be contingent upon contract award.

Job Details:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordinating, managing and executing exercises and joint collective training.

  • Developing and providing cross functional exercise design and execution for TSOCs and their joint SOF staff.

  • Providing Command and Consultant SOF SME’s operational pre-mission exercises as requested and approved by FMD JCTO.

  • Integration of relevant SOF doctrine, war-game and experimentation results and operational after action findings into future exercises to ensure rapid adjustment to real world Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).

  • Ensuring current and emergent intelligence threat information is incorporated into the exercise designs, scenarios and MSELs.

  • Attend subject matter expertise training, seminars, conferences and events as directed by COR to enhance products and services relevancy to SOF joint exercises and operational SOF C2 HQs pre-mission joint training requirements.

  • Incorporating modeling and simulation, and related JTSC network operations, as appropriate.

  • Developing reports, briefings and recommendations to improve exercise and training efficiency and effectiveness, and identifications of shortfalls and gaps.

  • Identifying deficiencies/performance gaps in SOF exercise and training programs and providing improvement recommendations.

  • Developing fact sheets, briefings and other documentation associated with training and exercise events and activities.

  • Providing input to assessments of SOF integration and interoperability with other units during exercises and training venues in the United States and throughout the world with recommended improvements.

  • Support coordination and execution of exercise operations, mission rehearsals and assessments in Realistic Military Training (RMT) environments.

  • Perform functional analysis to document complex process steps, tasks and their inter-relationships; provide post-exercise support.

  • Other duties and tasks assigned by Command team, as necessary.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of SOF information operations experience.

  • Prefer recent 5 years at the operational level in support of SOF operations.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience and functional knowledge of Information Operations planning, processes, and joint doctrine.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in providing intelligence analysis and all aspects of information gathering, research, threat assessments, client development, and predictive analysis.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience integrating classified and unclassified systems and information with international and interagency partners at the tactical and operational level.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, organization skills and proficiency in all source analytical support tools; proven skills in formal classroom delivery.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a platform instructor in a Professional Military Education/training environment preferred.

  • Must possess a current Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligible.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Willing to travel to various locations CONUS and OCONUS to support training exercises, as needed.
