NJ Employer Production Supervisor 3rd Shift in Somerset, New Jersey

Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/Vet.Responsibilities Supervise Mandrel Technicians and Mandrel Leads in day to day operations.Setup equipment and troubleshoot quality and machine problems to ensure that systems and/or equipment operate efficiently and effectively.Prioritize orders to meet production goals set by the production manager.Perform equipment qualifications (OQ) and Process Validations (PV).Inspect product that is being produced to ensure the highest quality is being met.Utilize good judgment and learned knowledge to assess and solve problems as they arise in the production process.Troubleshoot mechanical/software issues with equipment and communicate and seek assistance from the maintenance department as needed.Develop and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.Oversee and or conduct training of new or existing employees.Schedule and or perform calibrations of production and in process testing.Implement existing production recipes and make adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.Successfully and comprehensively train on all required and applicable company procedures.Perform other related duties and assignments and required.Qualifications 5 years experience with Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience without a Bachelors degree in a manufacturing environment preferred.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all operating and production personnel.Ability to utilize various calculations to understand production needs and requirements.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required. SAP a plus.Strong technical approach and mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge regarding fundamental production procedures and system operations required.Ability to maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors. Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated abilities to resolve diverse problems, to understand the importance of structure, organization, resource management and to complete critical tasks in a timely manner.Proven effective supervisory approach with the ability to lead a team and create a positive work environment.Quality conscious and excellent organization skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical DemandsAbility and willingness to lift up to 30lbs.
