  • Position Overview *

We are currently seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our 5E/W - Surgical/Ortho Department located at Skokie Hospital in Skokie, IL. This is a part-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will rotate on the Day/PM shift(7:00 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. and 3:00p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) with rotating weekends.

  • Responsibilities *

In this role, you will:

  • Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care

  • Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan

  • Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Good standing on the IDPH Nurse Aide Registry

  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required

  • Nursing students must have completed their first medical surgical clinical rotation

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • CPR certification required

  • Prior PCT or CNA experience preferred
