The Inbox product team is looking for a product manager to drive our mobile products forward. This position represents the critical intersection of email, mobile, AI, and CRM, forming deep connections among them. Product management for Inbox mobile will help Salesforce and its customers realize the benefits of the most essential and engaging technologies in enterprise software.
Due to the breadth of responsibility, this role calls for a strong, proactive Product Manager capable of independently driving the product forward. Product managers who thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment, and love working with the best technology team in the world should apply.
Responsibilities - Be the champion and voice of customers. Foster impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's perspective to every aspect of innovation. Build a backlog and roadmap that excites customers and colleagues alike. - Own the product vision. Be an expert on the use cases, the domain, and the broader market. Evangelize the vision to your customers, your team, and your stakeholders. - Drive for the best customer experience possible. Collaborate with your counterparts in documentation, design, engineering, marketing, support, and sales to deliver a world-class product that turns customers into fans. - Embrace a culture that measures and rewards customer adoption and success. Define what success means for everything we release, before it's built. Develop ways to consistently define and monitor success. - Communicate clearly and efficiently, from everyday interactions all the way through to major release communications. Work closely with our marketing team to promote your products. - Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert in all customer interactions, as well as at industry and corporate events.
- Proven ability to promote a vision that excites and inspires a cross-functional technical team.
- 3+ years of product management experience preferred, or equivalent responsibilities
- Experience working on mobile user interfaces
- Proficiency in turning customer and market needs into a compelling, successful product strategy.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to lead and work autonomously.
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with email technologies, such as G Suite, Exchange servers, or Outlook clients
- Experience working with Salesforce's Sales Cloud product and its APIs
- Affinity for agile development methodologies
