We are looking for a Water Resources Engineer to work on a wide range of Water/Wastewater/Water Resources engineering projects.
- Providing technical analysis, design, preparation of construction documents, reports, and cost estimates for potable water pipelines and pumping stations, sanitary sewer force mains and pumping stations, potable water storage tank/reservoir, and site civil
engineering projects within AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project.
Must be capable of exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications.
Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, permits, and designs for projects.
Prepares and checks design computations and quantity estimates
Instructs designers/technicians to develop designs and drawings within AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Contacts vendors, regulatory agencies, and sub-consultants to obtain information, guidance and requirements.
Field work and travel may be required including supervision of site investigation programs and construction observation
Background requirements include:
Possess 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software
BS in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water resources engineering
MS in Environmental Engineering is preferred, but not required
AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise preferred
