ADP has a position for a Design Engineer III in Global Enterprise Technical Services. The Design Engineer III will be a member of the IT Security Engineering team; responsible for the engineering, operation, support, and continuous improvement of the ADP core security infrastructure and platform protection systems and services. The team operates on a global scale for ADP in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. This includes the physical and virtual desktop environments as well as the Data Center Environments. Some of the team’s areas of responsibility are endpoint protection, next-gen security including application virtualization, EDR, and other security systems such as desktop encryption, CASB, and firewall.
The key area of responsibility for this position is the engineering and management of our enterprise security micro-virtualization infrastructure. Successful candidate should have experience managing and supporting endpoint security technologies in a large scale enterprise environment and have expertise on all aspects of agent management. In addition strong knowledge of MS Windows foundational security concepts is required. Any other knowledge of other security engineering topics (CASB, desktop encryption, EDR) will be a plus. The interview process will mainly focus on Windows endpoint security and large scale deployments so the candidate must be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge and experience in these areas.
Security Engineering team current responsibilities include the following:
Data Loss Prevention
Two factor authentication
Enterprise Security Log collection
Microsoft Windows Security concepts
Data Access Management
Experience with micro-virtualization, traditional AV
Understanding of current security technologies with an interest in emerging technologies
Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Windows Server 2008/2012, and UNIX platforms
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to engage in multiple projects & activities simultaneously while managing resources & priorities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of information security concepts, networking, and operating system fundamentals
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies & processes quickly
Real world experience with AV and related technologies
Familiarity with Cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, & Google
BA/BS and industry certifications are a plus
NTFS permissions, Data Access Management
