2018 Summer Internship – Mechanical Engineer

Company Description:

Power Technique North America Rock Hill Product Company is the Competence Center North America for Portable Compressors and Generators including the development and assembly of portable compressors and generators for North America. The product company is also the competence and US production center for Medical Gas Solutions including the development and assembly of medical source and pipeline products for NFPA markets.

Internship Opportunities

This summer we will be offering a full-time summer internship to undergraduate and graduate students with the following major and/or related majors:

/Mechanical Engineering/

Student interns will assist with:

Primary project: project engineers on their projects

Other responsibilities include:

  • Contributing ideas for the initial product concept as a member of a project team

  • This position will contribute to the master specification of the product including detailed performance and testing criteria as well as project tasks and timelines required to complete the project.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution.

  • Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance.

  • Majoring in an area of study related to the position.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative.

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities.
