We are looking for Project Delivery Managerswith financial planning & analysis and client service skills to join ourdynamic and growing Accounting & Reporting Transformation practice. Our team offers a range of services infinancial accounting & reporting advisory, cost accounting, accounting& process controls. Join our talentedteam of accounting & reporting specialists for 12-18 months at a Fortune100 multi-national consumer products and retail company.

As aProject Delivery Manager (12-18 Month Assignment)in our Accounting & Reporting Transformation team, yourresponsibilities will include:Manage monthly andquarterly reporting, business unit financial planning & analysis, ownsignificant portions of external reporting preparation and commentary at aFortune 100 multi-national consumer and retail Company. Refresh and improveexisting KPI and performance scorecard package. Perform monthly andquarterly variance analysis of budget versus plan and provide actionableinsight to operations leads to drive decision making and provide clarity intofinancial performance. Support rollingforecast and yearly forecasting process through management of financial modelsand their inputs. Support IT inupgrades and testing to SAP BPC for management of plan and actuals. Perform continuousimprovement of existing processes to simplify reporting and automate reporting. Oversee month-endclose calendar, including closing of all sub-ledgers and the general ledger andensure financial integrity of all month-end accounts and maintain SOXcompliance and accounting controls. Manage and performfinancial statement consolidations and account reconciliations and work withfinance team to provide variance commentary on results. Oversee junior staff accountantsto ensure their training, compliance, and development. Provide oversight ofa team of accountants who will help prepare the 10Q/10K and provide backupreview of the primary financial statements in each external reporting. Support the completion of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) keycontrols and documentation Engage with business stakeholders to review complexbusiness arrangements and propose accounting treatment to Controllingleadership Perform accountingfor complex legal entity structuresand international operations Run key reports forcontrolling leadership and broader finance organization on a monthly basis. Manage ad-hoc reporting requests and develop reportto meet stakeholder needs Manage financialmasterdata setup process in accordance with governance process Support Treasuryaccounting, derivatives and foreign exchange processes
The teamprovides clients with an extensiverange of accounting and reporting services designed to help enhance the valuefinance delivers to its overall business. We work with organizations to helpthemreduce risk andimprove internal and external reporting capabilities to meet accounting andregulatory requirements, and/or enhance strategic decision making. Our deepexperience also extends to governance in complex operating models and supportfor major business events and transactions, includingcapital markets transactions, derivativesand hedgingadvisory services.Learn more about Deloitte Advisory sAccounting & Reporting Transformation practice.
Required:5 to 8 years of financial planning & analysistechnical or advisory-related experience in entity andenterprise accounting, carve-out, and/or technical accounting, financialplanning and analysis and cost accountingat a multi-nationalcompany, preferable in the consumer and retail space. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or similarquantitative degree. At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience withinthe finance/accounting function. Prior experience in external reporting is a must. Superior skills with Microsoft Office application. Ability to research and analyze data from internaland external sources. Location: Portland, Oregon
Preferred:MBA or Master's degree in Business, Systems orAccounting CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA or FRMcertification, or working towards achieving one of these certifications. Prior experience in audit or management consultingis preferred. Experience with SAP, SAP BPC, Trintech and/or SQLis a plus. Strong background in controls ownership within a SOXenvironment. Experience as a user of or administrator of acommon ERP Finance and Reporting package (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc) Project experience in areas such as processmapping, root cause/gap analysis/best fit, requirements gathering / definitiondevelopment, financial modeling and value mapping
