Position Description :
The Department of Medical Imaging at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a per diem Cat Scan Technologist to provide technical services and coverage for Cat Scan services by performing all ordered scans on both the 4 slice and 64 slice CT machines and administering contrast when ordered by approved protocol.
Minimum Requirements :
Please apply if you meet these qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education required
A Graduate of an AART approved school of Radiographic Technology and a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare environment with direct patient contact required
Must receive AART Certification within one year of hire
Basic knowledge and proficiency in the use of PC’s and information systems. Essential understanding of computer data entry in Windows environment. Excellent verbal and written skills. Maintains a professional appearance. Consistently demonstrates a high degree of customer service skills.
