The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical/administrative activities related to the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) programs as directed by the supervising manager/director. The DJJ Program Assistant will conduct routine data entry into the Department of Juvenile Justice portal related to the provision of Redirection services . This individual will maintain a relationship with the Department of Juvenile Justice for data entry services and support, as needed and assigned. The Assistant will also assist the Administrative Team with other clerical duties related to data management and reporting requirements of the program.

  • Responsible for data entry of client related data for the DJJ Programs.

  • Assists Redirection Administrative Teams with other related clerical tasks, as assigned.

  • Utilizes multiple electronic portals and software programs to complete tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to: Department of Juvenile Justice electronic portals, Chrysalis Health electronic health record system, SharePoint and/or Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to communicate professional telephone etiquette at all times.

  • Must complete clerical/administrative activities thoroughly and within specified timeframe.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and a busy office environment independently.

  • Ability to report to work as scheduled, in a timely fashion and will an attitude oriented toward service.

  • Ability to understand and comply with all Chrysalis Health policies and procedures

  • Presents in a professional manner in the community, in person, on telephone and in written communication including times of extreme stress and when others are upset.

Graduation with a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1-year data entry experience; preferably in a health-care setting

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Computer literate and proficiency to Internet, on-line applications and email.

  • Ability to multi-task and utilize critical thinking skills

  • Bilingual a plus.
