Providence is calling a Biomedical Technician I (1.0 FTE, Variable) toProvidence St. Peter’s in Olympia, WA.
To work collaboratively with professional and clinical staff withthe goal of insuring all patient related medical equipment entering ProvidenceSt. Peter Hospital is well maintained and safe for patient usage .
In this position you will:
This is a technician still receiving training who is supported by experienced technicians and/or Biomedical Chief for troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
This technician is responsible for repair and planned maintenance of patient-related equipment in the hospital, as directed by the Biomedical Chief.
The technician must complete documentation on all work performed with regard to repair, planned maintenance, and calibrations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
An associates degree within an equivalent specialty, military or equivalent technical training, or equivalent experience in a hospital or with a medical equipment vendor.
A valid Washington State Driver's License in good standing.
