We are currently seeking an entry level college graduate to work in the Water/Wastewater Department of our growing Iowa practice. Location will be in Muscatine. Entry level knowledge in water and wastewater treatment (environmental engineering) is required.
Must be team-oriented and possess a strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities include:
Assist with engineering tasks such as collection and analysis of data.
Prepare preliminary calculations and design of treatment processes, piping, and pumping facilities.
Check design computations and quantity estimates.
Assist with development of reports, specifications and plans for water distribution, storage and treatment facilities, and wastewater conveyance, pumping and treatment facilities.
Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Occasional field work and travel will be required.
Job Requirements Include:
BS in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater engineering
MS in Environmental Engineering is preferred, but not required
Must possess Engineer Intern (EI) certification
Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
Strong technical writing skill
Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus
