Summary:

Facebook is seeking a Technical Program Management leader for the GMS Marketing Intelligence team. The team's mission is to build the best-in-class analytics and internal productivity tools for the Global Marketing Solutions team in Facebook. This person will support and lead the TPM organization for internal solutions engineering. Their responsibilities include people management for the Technical Program Manager team and growing the areas that TPMs support within the organization. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage cross-functional solutions engineering programs in a matrix organization.

  2. Help define the long-term vision & strategy in the GMS internal productivity and analytics landscape.

  3. Partner with key groups of analysts, scaling teams, engineers and leaders across the company to understand and anticipate their needs.

  4. Forge partnerships with the GMS teams to collaboratively solve workflows, analytical and productivity problems.

  5. Bring a strong sense of execution and ownership to the team.

  6. Build highly scalable, performant and reliable systems and infrastructure.

  7. Responsible for hiring, mentoring and developing the best TPM talent for FB in GMS.

  8. Define and own key metrics and key performance indicators.

  9. Manage a team, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports.

  10. Manage 3 – 8 direct reports.

  11. Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing a team of engineers, product managers, or technical program managers, including building and growing the team.

  2. 3+ years of experience in analytics.

  3. 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role.

  4. 2+ years experience as a People Manager.

  5. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  6. Communication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.

  7. Organizational and coordination experience.

  8. Experience understanding product requirements and translating needs into plans.

  9. Experience developing business applications (sales, marketing, recruiting, advertising).

  10. Experience managing concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of analytical and data Platforms.

  2. Experience with Product and Program Management.

  3. Knowledge of large-scale software systems.

  4. Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or related areas.
