Kforce has a client seeking a Threat & Vulnerability Management Function Lead in Irving, Texas (TX).Overview:The Threat and Vulnerability Management Function Lead will be responsible for directing and leading the team providing security vulnerability assessments and remediation recommendations. This position will manage a team responsible for delivering Threat and Vulnerability Management services, tools, and practices necessary for identification, classification, and remediation of threats. The position will also require providing services within the Threat and Vulnerability Management functional area such as application security, endpoint security, and mobile device security as well as communicating any risks, exposures, or threats to relevant stakeholders. The communication system needs to facilitate fact-based, non-judgmental conversations that help the global liability holders understand information previously unknown and to make better risk management decisions.A demonstrated aptitude to rapidly apply expertise in a complex business and technical environment with previous experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security controls is required. This role will require knowledge of network security methodologies, system administration/hardening techniques, and risk management processes. Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy are also required. Strong business communication and project management skills are required to maintain effective internal and customer relationships.
