Leading solutions provider and Cisco Gold Partner is actively seeking talented Cisco Unified Communications Solutions Architects for senior level roles covering their local clients. As a Cisco Voice Solutions Architect you will participate in diverse and challenging engagements for top clients. The job responsibilities will vary based on the project scope and deliverables but will range from unified communications design to the implementation and deployment of Voice, Contact Center, and R/S technologies.
---This role can be based anywhere in the Southern California region and relocation assistance will be offered to highly qualified candidates.
---Primarily a REMOTE role when not in front of clients
What You Need for this Position
--Strong skills in Voice / Collaboration and solid R/S expertise is ideal for the role
5+ years of related IP telephony design /architecture experience including some of the following:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
Cisco Contact Center Express (UCCX)
Cisco Unified Meeting Place and Webex
Cisco Unified Presence
Cisco Emergency Responder
Cisco Unified Mobility
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express
Voice Gateways / Routers / Switches
---Experience with Cisco HCS is a plus
3-5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or Sr. Pre Sales Engineer required
5-8+ years of related experience in consulting environments, working with Cisco Unified Communication design and / or implementation
Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving and overall relation building skills needed
Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required
Active CCIE (Voice OR Collaboration) certification OR CCNP-Voice / Collaboration certification

What You Will Be Doing
--Lead technical aspects of the sales process, supporting the sales team on-site surveys, technical discovery and qualification meetings for prospective customers and is responsible for educating prospective customers on service offerings
Formulate, define and execute sales strategy with the account team, understanding customer business drivers and technical drivers.
Help to build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing customers.
Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Utilizing supervisory, consulting, sales, presentation and analytical tools to create creative solutions, configurations and demos for HMS customers and prospects.
Traveling occasionally to meet with prospects, clients or present/attend at industry trade shows. Be able to present in larger forums.
Design and engineer solutions based on customer requirements, provide a design document or diagram as necessary and present solutions to the prospect or customer.
Participate with the account team to obtain customer contract acceptance and ensures final documentation of the proposed solution is complete and delivered to the service delivery department.
Working closely with internal departments such as Network Architecture, Network Engineering, Product Management and Product Development teams and Procurement.
Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
