Role : Infrastructure Engineering - Senior Manager Location: Hyderabad This position will oversee the personal and professional development of all Infra Engineering employees based in Hyderabad, India. This team includes members the following teams: Database Administration, Client Engineering, Tooling and Security. You will manage day-to-day activities to research, resolve, and handle operations and escalations. You will also develop strategies, processes, and procedures to optimize across the various teams. Responsibilities - Develop, and motivate a team of Engineers. Provide feedback regularly on personal and professional growth. Have consistent 1:1’s with team members. - Provide feedback to and partnership with peers in the Infra Eng Leadership team. - Provide strategy, guiding team members toward IT Infrastructure V2MOM (annual) goals. - Drives operational excellence through defined goals, metrics, automation, and process improvement. - Partner with Infrastructure Engineering & Operations, IT Security, Trust, and IT Support functions to negotiate, define, and implement service SLA and OLAs. - Ensure successful execution of enhancements and projects through solid planning, issue resolution, resource & capacity management, and operational readiness. - Works closely with other engineering, operations, and support teams to deliver new capabilities and maintain existing services. - Support the team in achieving desired goals, and be accountable for the team performance (quality and quantity). - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and peers.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in managing IT Engineering or IT Support team in a fast paced, high growth organization
  • 5+ years’ experience leading a team with diverse skills.
  • Leadership experience with cultural transformation
  • Passion for automating long term repeatable solutions
  • Highly detail oriented leader who thrives on process engineering and leading change
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required
  • Change management skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines
  • Confidence and interpersonal skills to achieve effective working relationships at all levels
  • Broad technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure services, including virtualization, VMware, Citrix, security, directory services, identity management, network, systems, storage, databases, and clients
  • Strong organizational and executive communications skills are a must
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations
  • Ability to make decisions and move forward without complete information
  • Able to both lead and execute; masterfully manage the big picture and the small details
  • Ability to manage the impact of changes in all aspects of the role
