This position is responsible for managing the lifecycle of both existing products and new products in development. Will be responsible for acquiring and communicating market insight to support new product/category growth. Will also play an important role in contributing to the strategic direction, driving portfolio decisions, and executing upstream and downstream marketing activities.
BA or BS degree in related field (life sciences, marketing).
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in product marketing.
History of quantifiable achievements in project/product management.
Must be very customer (internal and external) focused and results driven.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is a must.
Familiarity with infection prevention products/procedures is a plus.
Extremely strong communication skills (oral, written, developing/giving presentations) are mandatory.
Must have demonstrable competence in office software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and mainframe applications.
Up to 20% travel maybe required.
Pursue expert-level market insight of dental, medical and adjacent markets as a means of identifying new market/product opportunities and competitive threats.
Responsible for the New Product Development process including market/competitive analysis, identification of potential product line additions, product launch process and dealer communications.
Plan, manage, document and communicate results of market research, focus groups and surveys to identify product trends and needs.
Monitor unit sales, ASPs and margins against budget for key products; recommend corrective action to achieve budget.
Prioritize, develop and sell strategies and initiatives internally.
Provide technical support/training for sales representatives, customers and/or end users
