DaVita HRIS Operations Specialist II in Denver, Colorado

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

Responsible for processing teammate lifecycle transactions in Workday, ensuring data accuracy, reporting, analysis and project work. Duties will shift depending on workload and priorities of the PS Ops team. Other duties include supporting other People Services areas including HRIS and Onboarding. Role requires a good understanding of human resources, policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.

  • Responds to customer inquiries within designated time frames.

  • Ensures the accurate and timely input of information into the HR system.

  • Examines and verifies teammate information updated by manual and automated processes.

  • Generates and distributes daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.

  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Performs regular audits of HR data information and determines root causes of errors.

  • Participates in efforts to improve data integrity and standardization of processes.

  • Assists with project and with system implementations.

  • Participates in system and integration testing.

  • Supports special projects for department.

  • Provides guidance to others in the department in the absence of supervisor.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • 1 or 2 years of post-high school education or a degree from a two-year college.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • 3+ years of HR operations experience; at least 1 year of HR systems experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel

  • Workday experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Have a working understanding of HR / Employee life cycle functional processes.

  • Must have attention to detail and the ability to multi task and work under constant deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy and organization.

  • Must have demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential materials and information.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Must be a team player, willing to accept and provide constructive criticism in a positive manner.

  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to work independently or within a cross functional team in a fast paced environment.
