Job Description

Director of Labor Management will be a member of the operational finance and financial systems teams. This individual will be the driver of our OnTrack labor initiative and work closely with both operations and finance to evolve our labor reporting and standards. This person will also be a lead trainer on our reporting and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the configuration of OnTrack Labor System and work with operational finance to ensure the system is being utilized and maintained.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining interfaces (with the IT team) and leveraging system efficiency.

  • Work with Operational Finance and Operations to create and documentation labor and ensure compliance.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly labor reports and share with OSC resources.

  • Work with Operation Finance to review, develop and maintain consistent labor tracking and reporting.

  • Work with Operational Finance and Director of Financial Systems and Reporting on updating and maintaining our forecast/budget labor templates.

  • Prepare ad-hoc labor analyses of properties using MS Excel, and Omni’s reporting systems.

  • Prepare and maintain training material for accounting systems including but not limited to Spread Sheet Server, Envision and OnTrack.

  • Create and prepare reports as requested in our reporting tools.

  • Test templates as needed in our forecast and budgeting tool.

Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting/finance/hospitality

  • Prior experience working in a finance function with Omni Hotels and Resorts is a plus.

  • Prior experience as a Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.

  • Prior experience working with OnTrack or other Labor Management System.

  • High level of computer, analytical and technical skills including advanced Excel abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to lead a team

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a managed environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and projects

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Must be able to travel as needed
