Valley View Medical Center Audiologist - PRN in Columbus, Georgia
To provide audiological services that include, but are not limited to, diagnostic testing, screenings, aural rehabilitation, and hearing aid fittings for pediatrics and adults.
§ Master’s degree from an accredited organization or a higher level degree with PCE or Certificate of Clinical Competence.§ Must be aware of Audiology Scope of Practice as stated in AHSA guidelines.
Minimum Work Experience:
§ Diagnostic and Neurological ABR experience with pediatric and adult patients required.
§ Must meet state licensure requirements at all times and remain aware of changing rules, regulations, and technology in the field of audiology.
§ CPR Certification (optional)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
§ Interpersonal and communication skills needed to work effectively with administration, other audiologists, front office staff, speech pathologists, and other professionals in the field.
§ Aware of and adheres to all Practice and Hospital policies and procedures.
§ Ability to manage full time case load.
§ Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of individuals
§ Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately
§ Any other duties as necessary within range of knowledge to ensure office runs smoothly and efficiently
