The Dedicated Account Leader role consists of dispatching, planning, and customer service for assigned accounts. In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

Specifically, this position will be responsible for: *Providing a work environment that focuses on delivering excellence, problem solving,and managing mutal accountabilty. *Leading, coaching and developing a team of Dedicated Drivers. *Working with the customer to assess needs, provide timely assistance, resolves problems, and satisfy expectations. *Planning and dispatching the dedicated fleet work assignments. *Meeting or exceeding fleet utilization goals *Meeting or exceeding Driver retention goals *Monitoring & maintaining on-time performance levels at or above the customers' expectation. *Serving as the one contact that is empowered to make decisions in the best interest of Transport America and the customer. *Advising the customer of any potential concerns in a timely manner. *Demonstrating proactive communication both verbally and electonically.
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree in Transportation & Logistics preferred. *1-2 years experience as a Fleet Leader or Customer Service Manager preferred. *Ability to establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members. *Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities, includes building effective teams. *Ability to resolve issues without follow up *Outstanding communication skills. *Effectively copes with change and is energized by tough challenges. *Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and timely decision making. Identifies options including the short and long term impact on business operations. *Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite programs.
