Lockheed Martin Financial Analyst Senior- Investor Relations in Bethesda, Maryland

Description: Position assists the Vice President and Director of Investor Relations in all aspects of departmental functions.

The analyst is responsible for but not limited to the following:

-assisting in the preparation of Board of Directors materials

-assisting in the preparation of multiple presentations and analyses for the Executive Leadership Team

-assisting in the preparation of materials to facilitate interaction between the Lockheed Martin executive team and investors/analysts, including: the “Q&A” book in advance of the quarterly earnings calls and annual shareholder meeting

-weekly and monthly reports to reflect analyst ratings and institutional ownership of LMT stock

-presentations for sell-side and other conferences as required

-assists in the planning and execution of the LMT Investor Conference.

-performing competitor financial analysis of aerospace/defense companies, to include analysis of financial metrics

-maintenance and ongoing evolution of the Investor Relations on-line tool set, to include all relationships with vendors

-assisting the Director of Investor Relations in real-time surveillance and analysis of news items, analyst reports, SEC filings, earnings calls and other items of interest to LMT management of both our company and our peers

-interact with the Vice President and Director of Investor Relations, Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Media Relations and Investor Relations contacts in the Business Areas

This position has limited requirements for travel (related to the LMT Investor Conference).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-Financial modeling and analytical skills

-Ability to identify, design, and implement process improvements

-Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint
