This role is part of EA’s Customer Experience organization. The Customer Experience organization strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We’re players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

So how does a Training Specialist make great experiences for players? They:

  • Provide great experiences for our new hire game advisors through classroom help and initial support.

  • Create engaging and effective training solutions for a variety of formats like traditional and virtual classroom training, informal learning programs, eLearning, and mobile learning.

  • Develop media, graphics, and interactive learning solutions using a variety of software applications including Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, and other learning tools.

  • Determine criteria used to evaluate learner performance and develop assessment methods.

  • Partner with subject matter experts and managers across the organization to identify audience training needs and design tailored solutions.

  • Produce training proposals and reports to enable strategic decision making by department and business management teams.

  • Deliver global support and train-the-trainer programs to outsource partner training teams.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of emerging trends in learning strategy.

  • Support our learning management system and record training across a global audience.

If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need these skills or experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning development software.

  • Experience in curriculum development and supplementary learning materials.

  • Excellent problem solving, researching, and documentation skills.

  • A “can-do” approach and a passion to encourage the same in others.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexible in a fast-paced environment with frequent updates.

  • Fluent in verbal and written English, but fluency in another language is a plus.
