U.S. Bank eCommerce Sales Director-West Coast in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Elavon is currently seeking a eCommerce Sales Director who will be a part of the Global eCommerce Team. The Director, eCommerce Sales will manage a sales team responsible for delivering merchant acquiring solutions to the mid-market and national spaces, and supporting Elavon’s strategic alliances and integrated payments referral partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide leadership, strategic direction and management to team of 8 salespeople

· Manage key stakeholder relationships with strategic referral partners to maximize lead output

· Engage with product teams to help drive strategy

· Help refine/improve sales processes

· Establish new strategic alliances to drive leads into sales team

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of sales experience in the financial services industry

  • Three or more years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Considerable knowledge of sales and sales strategies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong management and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills

  • Excellent customer service/relations skills

  • Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends

  • Ability to make critical decisions independently
