Job Description Perform maintenance/repairs on sedans, light/medium/heavy trucks, trailers and heavy work equipment and any attached equipment, and/or auxiliary equipment, which is part of the specialized vehicles, operated by the Company. The following list sets forth the principal duties required for the job. This list is not intended to limit assignment of work or the degree of supervision under all operating conditions. Employee may perform miscellaneous, related, and incidental work in addition to that specifically outlined below. Troubleshoot, service and repair all hydraulic systems and mechanical components associated with vehicle equipment. Troubleshoot, service and repair all vehicle components including power train and all applicable operating components of the chassis. Assist others in the diagnosis of more complex problems. Operate Company vehicles and associated equipment and perform duties incidental to the operation of such equipment. Perform duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules, regulations and practices and report unsafe conditions and practices. Maintain tools, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Maintain vehicle system records as applicable. Attend and participate in training as assigned and assist in the training of other employees. Report irregularities and abnormal conditions. Assist employees of equal or higher classification. Direct the work of employees assigned to assist.
Education: High School Graduate or General Equilvancy Degree (GED) Experience: At least two years as an auto and or truck mechanic. Licenses/Certifications: Must attain Fluid Power Society Certification within 24 months of hire or entry date or vacate the current job classification. Testing: Successful completion of the Tuff Tech selection test is required for this position.
