BAE Systems Mgr I- Finance in York, Pennsylvania
Responsible for identifying, improving, creating business processes that are "big picture" and helpful to meet business objectives including, but not limited to compliant Earned Value Management Systems reporting. Expected to work to ensure business processes are in harmony with the goals of the organization. This includes driving closure to current CAPs, and moving program teams and the organization in total towards consistency of practice in the processes utilized to execute the requirements laid out in the system description.
Ensures the EVMS System Description complies with the guidelines as set forth in the DOD Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guide.
Ensure that the System Description reflects current compliant processes being used in the business unit.
Ensures that there is consistency in process across all platforms within CV.
Perform analysis of current processes to identify opportunities to enhance processes.
Collaborate and communicate with workers at all levels to evaluate key performance of current process and help facilitate change
Translates business plans and integrated program management system (IPMS) processes into business process models
May direct the work of less senior personnel.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Good planning, time management and organization skills.
Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
