SUMMARY: As a member of the Personal Lines Operations Service Team, you will work with our independent agents and their customers to create an outstanding service experience. This exciting customer service position focuses on responding to inbound service calls.

In this position, key job duties include:
Receiving inbound calls to assist agents and customers by explaining policy coverages
Researching and communicating underwriting guidelines to agents
Interpreting and verifying policy coverages, changes, renewals and new business transactions
Responding to simple and complex billing inquiries
Providing technical support to questions from agents regarding The Hanover’s online systems
Making internal recommendations related to systems, procedures and workflows to gain efficiencies and meet changing customer needs
Acting as a liaison with departments to resolve identified service issues
Meeting outlined job requirements and stated individual and departmental goals
