We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Manager for one of our Delaware clients.
Must have at least 10 years of related experience in a managerial position performing similar duties as described below
Must have solid and practical understanding of overall operations.
Knowledge of systems required:
OS/400 Operating System
POS, Financial, Inventory, and Purchasing, Payroll, Human Resources.
Knowledge of wiring schemas including optical fiber and network architecture
Knowledge of SQL, Database Architecture and current programming languages
Supervises Operations Manager, Manager of System/Network, AV Manager, Development Manager
Responsible to directly supervise IT Dept to include but not limited to hiring, training, scheduling and discipline issued in department.
Responsible to collaborate as needed to achieve company goals.
Develops relationships with vendors to evaluate, negotiate, implement systems, including maintenance agreements.
Responsible for the overall success of services such as: advice, makes recommendations, user guidance, system and/or data requests and voice network connections.
Directs and supervises the daily operations of the Information Technology Department. Works closely with IT in the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of all IT related projects, personnel.
Works closely with users and staff to resolve situations and to provide advice and guidance on IT or organizational related issues. Receives and responds to or coordinates responses to, incoming calls, and/or requests regarding problems
Makes recommendations to senior management on all IT systems and/or process improvements in support of business objectives.
Responsible for insuring that the Company is in compliance with the Federal, State and Local laws for security practices, etc.
Responsible to administer and analyze trends and potential changes in systems development.
Responsible to create and maintain Operating and Capital budgets in accordance with business objectives.
Promotes the on-going professional development of the IT team through guidance and training.
Participates in professional organizations that promote the development of client.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Responsible for departmental compliance to Human Resource and Purchasing guidelines
Performs outstanding customer relations.
Bachelors/Masters Degree in IT or closely related field or related work experience.
