The CLG team includes Home Lending, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses and other key partners.

  • The Consumer Financial Solutions (CFS) team* focuses on the growth and management of Wells Fargo's consumer credit card portfolio, including general purpose and co-brand cards. The Business Process Analyst 3 will be a part of the Consumer Financial Services Business Controls Team and will be responsible for completing process analysis, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, and recommending and implementing solutions.

The successful candidates will work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. Process design may require introducing new technology, staff, and substantial change to current structure.

This role will develop and lead process design or improvement initiatives, guiding teams across the business and providing process expertise for multiple business groups and analysis to the most complex and volatile business lines.

Duties include:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing Business Controls artifacts maintained in a variety of repositories

  • Improve / enhance existing Templates, Tools & Techniques

  • Participate in various Process Excellence engagements in support of more senior team practitioners

  • Perform initial process diagnostics through process mapping (iGrafx experienced preferred) and risk & control identification

  • Report on engagement progress to key stakeholders and Line of Business (LOB) senior leaders

  • Create and present PowerPoint presentations

  • Facilitate meetings with leaders on key priorities and initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of operations analysis experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing operations to accomplish business objectives

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Risk management experience

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
