Position Overview

Join Siemens Wind Power Inc. in Wichita, KS! Our facility is growing and we are currently looking for quality candidates to join the Wind Power team!

Responsibilities

Principle Duties include but are not limited to:

· Performing calibration according to E W calibration standards, procedures and instructions.

· Evaluating calibration results up against the equipment specification.

· Creating NCR’s when measuring equipment is found to be out of specification/tolerance.

· Calling in measuring equipment due for calibration according to E W calibration standards.

· Registering, numbering and labeling the measuring equipment.

· Management of measuring equipment database.

· Creating NCR’s when measuring equipment is found to be out of specification /tolerance.

· Handling measuring equipment according to E W calibration standards, procedures and instructions.

· AS degree or Technician training in electronics/Calibration

· 3 years’ experience electronic calibration (volt & current meters, Temperature)

· Met/Cal experience

· Be able to lift 50 lbs.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable

Met Team Experience and Understanding

Process Improvements and Process testing

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Project Management

LEAN experience
