As the Director of Patient Access for one of our hospitals, you will be responsible for integrating the department's services with the hospital's primary functions and developing/implementing policies and procedures that guide and support services in the patient registration department and related functions. Assessing and improving department performance and ensuring orientation and continuing education of departmental staff is also key. You will serve as a key promoter of the revenue service center, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its internal and external customers.

The Director of Patient Access Services is responsible for the daily operations of all functions of Admissions and serves as the liaison between the Service Center and the hospital administration.

Wesley Medical Center is a 760 bed hospital that registers approximately 187,000 patients annually.

Education * Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required * Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement

Experience * Patient Access experience * Minimum 5 years management experience * Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environments required
