The Senior Director position owns the entire P&L of the Lifecycle Services organization, will require the individual to set revenue targets for aftermarket-related products and services, develop evolving plans to grow the aftermarket business and increase customer satisfaction, as well as work well with the other business functional areas to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

· Confers with other executives to establish and drive the strategic direction of the Lifecycle Services and Support organization

· Utilizes top tier strategies in setting long term goals to ensure the best use of the organization’s resources

· Evaluates existing strategic plans and aims to ensure growth and profitability, makes adjustments as necessary

· Develops and drives operational processes in order to optimize quality and satisfaction for the customer

· Delivers strategic guidance and maintains excellence through driving successful implementations and follow-up of software products

· Works cross functionally to maximize efficiency and leverage other areas of the business

· Monitors and evaluates competitive activities to enhance market intelligence

· Prepares and leads execution of strategic and tactical plans to improve sales and margins for products

· Communicates key customer, market trends/actions, and economic changes to senior management

Bachelor's / Master's degree preferred in engineering, business management or other related discipline

· Minimum of 15 years of experience leading an aftermarket or lifecycle support organization

· Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the aftermarket concepts, practices, and procedures

· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

· Ability to manage at both strategic and operational levels

· Experience and facility working in a lean / kaizen culture, with a track record of utilizing these methodologies in a commercial setting
