Medecision is looking for a Manager of Data Operations, a passionate power contributor who blends a solid operational background and skillset with proven client consultation and management experience. This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful ongoing operations of Medecision’s client facing data operations.

..You, as the Manager of Data Operations possess a forward-thinking mindset to lead Medecision’s day-to-day Software as a Service (SaaS) data operations. You can manage a small team that is responsible for the ongoing operations and related data investigations of multiple, complex SaaS based production data management systems at Medecision.
Reports to: Sr. Director of Data Management
Location(s): Wayne, PA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Remote
YOU’RE GOOD AT:
Managing data operations team to meet or exceed client expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Driving operational best practices that solve real business challenges across Medecision
Managing data operations staff (Data Analysts and Data Operators) including hiring, training, performance management, etc…
Orchestrating data driven resolution of high-impact and cross-functional challenges
Maintaining regular and ad-hoc operational metrics and performance gauges such as the balanced scorecard
Supporting User Acceptance testing (UAT)
Maintaining operational documentation and related training materials
Effectively managing contract resources to ensure timely operations delivery
Partnering with implementation teams to smoothly transition new clients and internal roll outs to production
Working flexible hours including some nights and weekends
8+ years’ experience in health care data operations required with minimum 3 years in management role; experience in a SaaS environment preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science, Analytics, or Business
Experience managing & troubleshooting Linux, SQL & noSQL databases
Knowledge of and ability to manage IT work activities, processes and progress within a system to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness
Expertise in the healthcare, population health management, EMR industries are strongly preferred
Subject-matter expertise in population health management within IDN, Hospitals, Health Systems, environments
Knowledge & experience in ANSI X12 & HL7 based EDI standards, particularly with 270/271, 834, 274, 278, 837P, 837I, 276/277, and 835
Experience with clinical nomenclature: LOINC, SNOMED CT, CPT, ICD 9 or 10 CM, RxNorm, et al.
Ability to travel 10%
