Washington State DSHS Customer Service Specialist 2 in Washington

Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) Customer Service Team is looking for a new Customer Services Specialist to join their team. In this position you will provide support to the Kent or Seattle DDA Field Service Office and travel may be required for coverage. Join us on our Mission to Transform Lives!
Some of what you'll be doing
As the Customer Service Specialist you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and community members, internal and external stakeholders. You will act as liaison between staff, customers and agency; provide problem resolutions, answer customer inquiries. Provide leadership and direction to other support staff in the office.
Advise client(s) and other customers of the proper procedures to access agency services while providing high quality customer service.

- Ability to efficiently use a computer and software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to perform high quality work in a fast pace, high production environment
- Ability to prioritize work load and efficiently multitask
- Ability to communicate clearly, efficiently and professionally with staff and customers
- Ability to apply independent judgment to resolve problems and providing excellent customer service
- Support and contribute to team building processes
Who should apply? Professionals with an Associate's degree AND two years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems OR Professionals with Bachelor's degree ORProfessionals with equivalent experience (four years) providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems
