Verizon Wireless Lead Java Architect in Warren, New Jersey
Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will regularly lead multiple small to medium-size projects or one large project and perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuring and scheduling. You will develop resolutions to complex problems creatively and make decisions that impact projects & staff members.
The Lead Java Architect will design the CARE applications team. This application will be customized for different CARE organizations and the thousands of CARE reps who use it every day.
Lead the transformation in redesigning the desktop application using the Business process management toolsProvides leadership for end-to-end product integration and communicates status to leadership
Analyzes System requirements and ensures all the system interfaces supporting these requirements
Works with cross functional teams for system integration environments, performs software and data integrations, coordinates updates with SCM
Troubleshoots technical issues found during integration and works across teams to resolve them
Besides Java/J2EE, JSP, JS, hands-on experience with Angular JS/Angular2, NodeJS, preferred
Familiarity with DevOps tools like JIRA, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jenkins, GitHub Etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in related area or equivalent experience
Six or more years of relevant experienceExperience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams
Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills
Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues
Experience with DevOps tools like JIRA, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jenkins, GitHub
