Newegg Inc. Sr. Accountant - General Accounting in United States

To manage and monitor credit card fees, chargebacks, and banking fees, and handle new business initiatives of the company from the exploration stage to implementation.

  • Perform credit card analysis by monitoring fees and interchange rates.

  • Serve as liaison for banks, acquirers, and other solution providers.

  • Monitor chargebacks and alert management of any spikes to proactively prevent fraud attacks.

  • Assist Treasury Management team in all banking issues.

  • Assist Accounts Receivable team in all credit card/payment processing issues.

  • Upload Finance contracts in the Upside system for Legal review and follow up until is is reviewed and approved.

  • Support Director of Accounting on all business initiatives of the company to include research, coordination of system and process integration and implementation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ Years of experience in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience with credit card and treasury is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment.

  • Able to work in a matrixed organizational structure, developing strong relationships with all levels of management.
