As part of the Travel Network GlobalOperations organization, the TN Data & Analytics team works closely withGlobal Operations leaders to ensure the successful delivery of service andsupport functions to the thousands of Sabre Travel Network customers across theglobe. Excellent service resulting in high customer satisfactiondelivered with continued operational efficiency is our goal within GlobalOperations. We partner with Sales, Supplier, Marketing, Finance,and Product & Technology teams to provide greater customer and businessinsights and high value analytics to support the growing needs of our customersand to meet our company objectives. The need for data-driven decisionsupport has never been greater, and the TN Data & Analytics team is at thecenter of fulfilling this need for Sabre and its customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undergeneral direction with minimal oversight, delineates requirements to solvecomplex business problems using differing technologies and systems acrossmultiple functional domains on high profile and/or mission critical efforts andprojects.
Works directly with business stakeholders and subject matterexperts, at all levels, to understand the business problem and determinebusiness objectives.
Translates business requirements into system/functionalrequirements used by technical (BI and Data Science) teams to develop newoperational and business analytics capabilities and high-value reporting.
Advanced ability to plan strategically for current and future businessenvironments, including future technology and service design changes to createflexible solutions.
Creates process engineering and/or businessassessments to ensure appropriate design, development or re-engineering ofsolutions.
Uses knowledge of human factors engineering principles anduser experience best-practices to transform data into high value informationpresented via intuitive and easy-to-use tools.
Assesses business impactof new requests to prioritize delivery pipeline.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, to serve as lead conduitbetween internal customers and developers, architects, designers.
Proactive intaking ownership of issues and driving to a solution.
Capability tosupport or manage several projects, running concurrently and support and/ordrive on-time delivery.
Provides project management support to teamManager, Director, and Project Coordinators as required.
Providesfunctional/technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developingsystems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Provides consultation to users in detailed functionalities of automatedsystems.
May lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
Advanced knowledge of data analysis, data analytics, process flows, engineeringdocumentation, tools and architecture concepts required.
Experience withBusiness Intelligence tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, or Cognos ispreferred. SQL skills a plus.
