CADILLAC REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

ROLE SYNOPSIS

This position is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned Region for Cadillac. The work involves a great deal of creativity, negotiating and decision making.

Primary Purpose:

  • Provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in addition to building strong relationships
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned Region
  • Staff and direct a sales team of about 8 employees

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive Sales and Market Share objective attainment for the Region
  • Develop and execute Sales and Marketing plans
  • Manage Region inventory and drive consensus coverage
  • Work with Multiple Local Marketing Associations
  • Work with ADIs to facilitate dealer and LMA accessory integration
  • Assist in development and implementation of Region customer retention strategy
  • Integrate CSSR program within Region to ensure success
  • Manage overall Region CSI and retention performance
  • Implement the divisional facility image program
  • Champion overall Region training performance and Sales excellence
  • Ensure proper utilization of dealership empowerment tools
  • Spearhead the divisional customer experience process at Region level
  • Maximize overall dealer profitability for Region
  • Administer dealer contractual agreements
  • Oversee and maintain overall Region net working capital requirements
  • Oversee and direct the dealer network
  • Train, coach and develop talent
  • Drive communication

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 7years of automotive experience in dealership operations, including sales & service
  • Proven track record of leading a team that works primarily with automotive dealers and the dealership enterprise
  • Minimum of 5 years ofsupervisory/leadership experience
  • Dealer contact experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Luxury / Premium Brand Automotive Experience Preferred
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others both within & outside the organization
  • Excellent organizing & planning skills to coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to work independently & deal with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Broad knowledge of problem analysis methodologies & ability to develop resolutions
  • Computer skills to develop, maintain & analyze data
  • Highly developed oral & written communication skills
  • MBA Preferred

  • Must be willing to travel extensively
