  • Assist with all aspects of product communications launches in North America and help coordinate global activity surrounding launches
  • Secure coverage for Cadillac brand and products across all areas of media
  • Develop product plans and all other assets to support Communications initiatives
  • Collaborate with Cadillac Product Communications Manager and Specialists to build product communications strategy and launch activities for Cadillac products
  • Develop content, communication strategy, media relations and messaging for new and existing product lines
  • Partner with key leaders and experts across the organization – including marketing, advertising, social media, engineering and design – to build strategies, programs and stories for all new, existing and future products
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues on the Cadillac Communication team on all aspects of product media relations, planning and budget

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in PR
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience translating stories to media for coverage
  • Strong contacts with automotive media

Preferred Skills:

  • High level of interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work closely with executive staff and manage/mentor junior Product Communication Specialists
  • Able to establish strong internal/external networks (i.e. media, product specialists, agencies, etc.)
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multi-task and handle more than one program at a time
  • Initiative and self-motivation; ability to work independently and with little direction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work well under pressure
