Join a team of innovators at Concur as a Senior Manager who will help lead the Quality Engineering & Automation efforts for our ConcurGov team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a Quality Engineering or Development organization with a strong focus on innovation, automation and actionable metrics. The successful candidate will be expected to work with numerous individual Development teams and QE leaders in the evolution and implementation of automation frameworks to be utilized by engineers embedded within Scrum teams. Concur’s Government Travel and Expense teams develops new features that enable web and mobile users book and manage travel as well as create, upload, and approve expense reports.

In the first 12 months you will:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 SDETs integrated into fast-paced Scrum teams

  • Lead across agile teams to prioritize and deliver on customer commitments

  • Be a force for improving the quality of our services and drive customer satisfaction

  • Participate in driving business decisions and Agile sprint planning across teams

  • Work with other QE team leaders in the development and implementation of test automation strategies across platforms and form factors. Identify new automation tools/approaches that will optimize testing cost and increase quality

  • Analyze bug trends/patterns and customer feedback to drive for better customer experiences

  • Work with other Agile team leaders (including PM and Dev) to drive feature planning to increase customer adoption and Agile practice maturity

  • Innovate, Innovate, Innovate… Position Requirements What you bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math or another related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience shipping enterprise software in Development, Test or related capacity

  • 8+ years’ experience leading software engineering teams

  • 6+ years’ experience writing Java or other object-oriented languages

  • 6+ years’ experience writing UI-based test automation using Selenium and Selenium-based page objects

  • Strong, practical understanding of Agile development and DevOps practices within a cloud-based, SaaS software company

  • Experience designing and developing architected interfaces in development or test automation

  • Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills
