Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, Day Shift

Manage accounts receivables for Employer Solutions and/or centralized clinical accounts. Provide primary client interface on accounts, including negotiations with physicians and or designated office management, CEOs and CFOs. Lead communication role to Quest Diagnostics leadership, including direct engagement with Managing Directors, Sales Directors, Controllers, and other relevant staff. Maintain a department green light status of AR> 90=10%.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: **__________________________

  1. Responsible for the management of Client accounts receivables. Portfolios range from $500,000 to $4 million, with number of accounts ranging up to1500 or possibly higher.

  2. Provide account management support through regular engagement with Sales Director, Billing Service Representaitve, District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Controllers on an as needed basis. - Facilitate conference calls with all relevant internal resources.

  3. Interface with the external client regularly including CEOs and CFOs to drive AR improvements via Transfers and Cash.

  4. Make daily collection calls on past due accounts.

  5. Negotiate with new “high risk” client accounts on specialized payment terms.

  6. Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Business Unit leadership on terms for clients who have filed bankruptcy to establish debtor in possession accounts.

  7. Maintain call records and other documentation Via the Client Collections Database(NRSC) or other local tool

  8. Address most customer issues and problems within 48 hours, by engaging all responsible parties to drive timely resolution and reduce client dissatisfaction

  9. Negotiate and prepare payment plans according to the Client collections SOP. Perform client account reconciliations, adjustments and transfers for accounts at risk.

  10. Prepare various reports: High Risk, Bad Debt Reserve, No Pay, and 180 days Equal Total Due.

  11. Prepare comprehensive electronic placement packages and forward these accounts with an outside collection agency or attorney.

  12. Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS: **__________________________

  1. High School diploma required; BS in Business Administration or related field preferred
  2. 3+ years collections or related client/patient billing experience required.
  3. Demonstrated intermediate skill level for Word & Excel applications required; Access a plus.
  4. Demonstrated Experience conducting data analysis and preparing recommendations from the findings required
  5. Demonstrated Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated Excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as experience communicating to senior staff members.
  7. Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with a leadership team that is offsite
  8. Knowledge of health care billing preferred **__________________________
