Performs non-invasive cardiac diagnostic imaging a minimum of one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month using ultrasound technology to aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases.
To be successful, the echocardiographer must be able to:
Perform various echocardiograms according to the departmental policies and procedures
Participate in quality assurance activities
Complete various clerical and departmental tasks
Schedule requirements: Weekday's and every fourth weekend per month.
Associates Degree in Echocardiography
Minimum License: BLS
New hires must obtain RDCS from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) prior to the start date.
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years
