Verizon Financial Analyst – Accounts Payable Central Support in Tulsa, Oklahoma

What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be responsible for supporting daily Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to handling issues and escalation resolution of Employee Business Expenses and Corporate Card. You will providing reporting support and monitoring daily queue stats within specified department timelines while following company and department policies and procedures. Enabling us to run more efficiently by looking for policies or processes that can be further streamlined will also be a vital part of your role. We are the best Finance team in the business and you can be part of it, keeping our financial operations accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork.

  • Work closely with internal customers to resolve Employee Expense and Corporate Card related issues.

  • Testing systems and documenting processes and standards.

  • Helping to find ways to further automate processes.

  • Evaluating changes to Accounts Payable processes and procedures.

What we’re looking for...

You are a well-organized, detail oriented person who enjoys managing work efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be analytical, resourceful, enjoy working independently or within a team to manage multiple competing priorities, and you’ll have strong oral and written communication skills.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • One or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

  • Accounts payable and/or general ledger experience.

  • Experience with Concur, SAP or PeopleSoft.

  • Experience using Microsoft Access.
