Training Support Associate – Tucson, AZ Job Description: Raytheon Professional Services (RPS), located in Tucson, AZ is looking for an entry level Training Support Associate to support training events. The person who fills this position is primarily responsible for the administration of logistics support for training sessions supported by RPS. Job duties include, but are not limited to: · Provide logistical support for training events including scheduling, planning and operation of these events for local and remote locations · Arrange and schedule training rooms, instructors, and required equipment · Communicate with students, instructors and event sponsors via email and/or phone to answer questions and resolve registration issues · Use of Learning Management System (LMS) to schedule courses/classes, update enrollments and completions, and generate reports · Daily use of a Workflow Management System to track and manage class/program information, requirements and completion of tasks associated with event support · Assist with internal and external customers on services and associated requirements · Post and retrieve content from online SharePoint repositories · Order and distribute course materials · Coordinate catering services for events · Classroom set up and tear down · Collect and complete all billing information for billing of classes/programs · Escalate opportunities for account growth · Move course materials and lifting up to 35 pounds is an essential function of this job · Overtime may be required for class set up/tear down, and evening functions Required Skills: · Two years’ experience in a customer service capacity · Able to identify risks and present options for resolving · Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook · Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills · Must possess excellent customer service skills · Able to work independently and as a team with minimal supervision · Ability to prioritize and manage work assignments in order to meet project deadlines with attention to detail Desired Skills: · Two years’ experience in the administration field preferably planning events, supporting meetings, workshops, or class sessions utilizing customer requirements · Ability to identify areas of continuous improvement in the work environment and processes · Working knowledge of Outlook email system · Familiar with Cvent event management tool · Familiar with Success Factors Learning Management System Required Education: · High School diploma or equivalent · Associate degree or better preferred Relocation assistance is not available for this position. 89595
