Sales Representative

For our company in Spain, Located in Torrejon de Ardoz, (Madrid), we are looking for a Sales Representative, who reporting to the Sales Area Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling Kalmar Mobile Equipment, securing the sales budget in Spain, identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers and build positive relationship which generate future sales and repeat business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships which generate future sales and repeat business, within the Port Terminals and Heavy Industry Sector.

  • Define and take Sales Actions to meet Kalmar Spain Mobile Equipment Sales Budget.

  • Formulate and coordinate together with The Product Line Responsible sales strategies and marketing campaigns to develop sales forecast and budget.

  • Identify Potential Customers and future trends changes

  • Supervises and trains distributors and/or sales force to achieve sales targets

  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts in the organization

  • Together with the different Product Lines of the company develop customer proposals to increase sales.

Education and Experience

We expect you to have preferably an Engineering Sciences qualification, MSc or BSc; at least 4-7 years of experience in a similar position within port cranes, Heavy Plant/Industrial Equipment or similar industry, in an international environment.

Full command of English is a must.

The position will requires intensive travelling to different Locations within the assigned territory
