Huitt-Zollars, Inc. Civil Engineer/Project Manager in Thousand Oaks, California
Huitt-Zollars' Thousand Oaks office has an immediate career opportunity for a full-time professional Civil Engineer/Project Manager with BSCE and P.E. registration. Candidate must be licensed and registered in California (or able to obtain licensure within 12 months) with solid design experience in public works projects. Experience in land development projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial development is also desirable.
Manage and design public works and land development projects
Execute business development, develop and maintain successful client relationships
Project management throughout all project phases including plan production, development of design plans, specifications, feasibility reports, construction administration, utility relocation coordination, cost estimating, etc.
Develop project proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage execution and tracking of engineering projects
Present project progress to clients and cultivate client relationships
Interface and coordinate with city staff
Train and mentor engineering staff and work effectively as a team
Licensed and Registered P.E. in California or ability to obtain CA registration
Minimum 10 years of engineering design experience on infrastructure and land development
Proven ability to market clients and secure contracts
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
