Job Title: Systems Analyst

Reports to: Service Desk Manager


As a key member of the Systems Analyst in the Information Technology department, the Systems Analyst provides remote technical support via phone and various remote tools to users by troubleshooting network hardware, personal computers, software applications, telecommunication and network communication issues in an enterprise environment. Tracks, monitors, follows up and follows through issues to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.


  • Minimum 2 years' experience on Help Desk Technical support team as frontline support technician fielding calls and performing call ticket follow up.
  • Network or System Administration experience a plus
  • Knowledgeable of Help Desk ticketing systems and processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detailed, accurate documentation
  • Must be self-motivated; able to work in both team and solo environments for long periods of time
  • Professional demeanor, goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease with building/establishing rapport with an array of people and teams
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work at a swift pace and provide first-class customer service
  • Must exhibit proficiency typing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree and/or Technical certifications a plus
  • Local (Dallas/Fort Worth area) candidates only -- no relocation

Essential Functions

  • Service desk phone support for remote desktop / laptop users in an enterprise environment
  • Analyze and resolve various technical support issues for end users
  • Support ranging from basic setup to complex issues
  • Support operation of Operating Systems (7,8.1, 10 some Mac OS)
  • Configure, and maintain desktop applications
  • Support desktop applications (Outlook, Office, Word, Excel, etc...)
  • Log all end user interaction in service desk ticketing system
  • Support remote published applications (Citrix, Remote App, Remote Desktop)
  • Create and maintain users in Active Directory / Exchange
  • Develop documentation of systems, policies, procedures
  • Passion for learning, trying new things, understanding what works what doesn't
  • Some weekend after hours' work required, rotating on-call support


Must have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations


As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; exempt position
